Silver Lining

The song by Jeff Beck, ‘Hi ho, Silver Lining’ merits some analysis but there are a couple of key lines in it:

“Anything you want is yours now, only nothing’s for free”

The song always reminds me of travelling in the back of a Royal Signals Land Rover along that North African coast road which was the focus of the Desert War.

As a very young Officer Cadet I was attached to the UK troops in Libya at the time, based in Benghazi, and we were off to check up on an oil installation in the Libyan desert operated by Esso.

It was an interesting and educational trip of which I still have some mementos.

Oh yes, the song, well I was tuned in to the BBC World Service on the radio, a big valve operated thing which required me to continuously adjust the tuning. This was the song that was coming through and we were all singing along as we drove with the Mediterranean on our right and the desert on the left under a clear blue sky.

I had plenty of time to think and observe while I was in the desert for those few days; my services as radio operator weren’t required much as the Americans had their own civilian installation.

Now; you and I know that if we set a clear intention we can be, do and have anything we wish for. There is no limit on what we can achieve.

But.

As the song says, ‘nothing’s for free’.

This is where ‘The Secret’, although a great book and movie that awakened many people, didn’t really cover the bases. The Law of Attraction was put forward as the secret answer to everything – all you had to do was ask.

Well, yes, but it didn’t point out the critical importance of clarity, and it didn’t really talk about action.

Besides which you and I know by now that the Law of Attraction doesn’t work.

Not by itself anyway, as there are 10 other Universal Laws that go with it and there are two other elements to the equation which is where ‘nothing’s for free’ comes in.

It’s the ABC of working with the Law.

Action + Belief = Consequence

It’s no good just visualising, wishing and asking, you and I have to take action and we have to believe.

Believe that we CAN do it, believe that it WILL come to pass

In reality, the belief usually needs to come before the action because otherwise the action quite often doesn’t get taken, nothing is done – it’s no coincidence that the word ‘attraction’ includes ‘action’.

Action is fundamental if your desire or wish is to be fulfilled.

I’ve written about belief before but the one element that I will repeat is that to ‘believe’ something, or to have faith in something, you don’t need to know ‘how’ it works, ‘how’ it’s going to come about, or even ‘how’ to take the necessary action.

All that follows – once belief is in place the ‘what to do and how to do it’ just reveals itself.

On the way back from Esso Zelten, after travelling through the sand dunes we visited a petrified forest. I still have a small piece of that wood turned to stone which was lying around everywhere in the sand.

It brought something home to me,

Things change.

There’s oil below and the remains of trees on the surface. Once there was a forest here and all the life that went with it, nothing is ‘permanent’.

Deserts, like clouds, have a ‘silver lining’.

Nothing is permanent for you and me either – we can change ourselves and we can make changes around us so we must be bold, believe in who we are, clarify our intention and take action.

Believe in your Self, take the actions you need and your ‘silver lining’ will appear – like magic!

Back to the Future

‘Past, present and future’ is a common framework that most people would consider they understand, and they think of this ‘timeline’ in terms of days, , months, decades and so on.

But really, the ‘timeline’ has very little to do with ‘time’.

There are many science fiction stories about people going back and ‘changing the timeline’ by accident, or deliberately, or as in H.G Wells’ classic ‘The Time Machine’ going forward to see ‘the future’. There is rather more to that novel of course than just a fantasy, it has some serious political undertones, as one would expect of the author.

Unlike ‘time’ though, timelines do exist and put simply, are a record of energy transformations.

As you and I know, everything is created twice. First by thought and then by action which is another word for transformation. Thought energy becomes creative energy and one energetic construct is turned into another.

The planet we live on and everything on it was created in the same way and I’m going to bypass the ‘creation/evolution’ argument here because it would take too long and they are both the same thing anyway.

This planet is inhabited by many sentient life forms but as far as we are aware, humans are the only ones able to manipulate and transform energy – to turn one form into another. Other creatures can use existing energy forms and build but only by rearranging them.

At our present level of consciousness or spiritual development we can only do this third dimensionally. We have the innate ability to ‘make things happen’ like a Wizard or a Jedi Knight but in general, apart from very few individuals, we’ve forgotten how to use it.

Every energetic transaction we make, every transformation that occurs is recorded. Sequentially, one after another.

Once something has taken place, has happened, it cannot be ‘un-happened’. It can be reversed, but that, in sequence, is another transaction, the original is still there in the timeline and cannot be undone or changed.

Does that remind you of something?

Of course, it’s a blockchain.

Every transaction is recorded in sequence and locked in. It is though, more subtle than the blockchains we use today, and more difficult to interrogate because it contains more information about the energetic transformations (transactions) it records.

This ‘blockchain timeline’ is held for each of us in the Akashic Record – a sort of fifth dimensional ledger, but unlike a paper ledger where you can turn to any page and see all the information the Akashic Record only responds to binary questions and the only answers it can give are ‘yes’ or ‘no’.

I have been attuned and trained to interrogate the Record and I can assure you that it takes a very long time and a lot of questions to get any information!

Every Soul has its own Record, from the dawn of creation when all Souls were individuated in the ‘big bang’ up until now, this instant. Everything is recorded.

There is, by the way, no ‘future’ timeline, no record of transactions that have not taken place. How could there be? But what we can do is ‘project’ a possible timeline a short way into the future.

We know we are on a journey, our ‘Way’, and we have a good idea of where we are going so there are several possible future timelines.

Consider the practice of Accountancy.

Essentially there are two parts to the work a good Accountant will do for you. They will look back at your transactions over the past year to help you minimise the amount of tax you have to pay and they will look at forward projections, budgets and cash flow forecasts giving different possible scenarios for the coming year.

It’s the same with your personal timeline. If you take course of action ‘A’ your future timeline will be different from what it would look like if you took course of action ‘B’; but, like our Accountant, we can only see so far ahead.

Wells’ foray into future centuries using his time machine followed only one of many possible timelines that could have been created. We can fantasise about future timelines but not really predict them with any accuracy.

Then there’s the thorny problem of ‘the past’.

The blockchain cannot be altered – you cannot ‘change the past’ – you cannot even atone for or avenge any transaction that may have occurred in one of your past lives, or in the lives of your ancestors or anyone else.

You can only ‘put things right’ by transactions you instigate in your own current life, yours, not anyone else’s. Trying to persuade other people to do things or agree with you is a waste of time, their choices are up to them, not you. In short you cannot choose any future timeline other than your own.

Problems with ‘the past’ arise because there are so many different interpretations of it, so many different physical records of it. The only true history is in the Akashic Record and that is notoriously difficult to get at because you can only answer ‘yes/no’ questions.

And there’s more.

I’ve spoken before about alternate universes; similarly, there are alternate timelines.

Right now, you and I are on one of six alternate personal timelines. Yes, it took me a while to get my head around this as well, but it does make sense.

Have you ever

  • noticed yourself behaving ‘out of character’ or doing something that you’ve never done before or wouldn’t normally do?
  • been ‘distracted’ and gone off down a different path while you were in the middle of doing something else?
  • been influenced by others to take part in some activity that you’d not normally do or instigate by yourself?
  • made an abrupt or even planned career or life change?
  • found yourself operating inn different ‘life streams’ – family, career, hobbies, part time work, volunteering etc. all at the same time?

You and I flip between timelines, we do it all the time and don’t notice.

It’s a function of the curiosity inherent in our Soul, and in our ‘human nature’, it’s part of our experiential divine soul purpose, which is why we are here in the first place.

So here’s the summary.

We have one, locked secure, past timeline recording all the transactions in all our past lives and our current life.

We have a current timeline where we are ‘building the blockchain’ creating transactions in one of six possible current timelines. Only what we actually do gets recorded.

We have infinite potential future timelines which depend on the choices we make right now this instant, and in the next instant and so on. ‘The future’ doesn’t exist until we carry out a transaction.

But we can make transactions for the future and drive out timeline towards them. We can visualise, ‘dream’ and set high level goals. Our future timeline will be influenced by the transactions we make to achieve them. If we hold a clear vision of the future, then the timeline will automatically direct itself towards it.

You or I cannot change the past, we can only act in the present to influence the future.

As C S Lewis put it

“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”

The Dimension Paradigm – Part 3

A few people, maybe around 3% of the global population, have grown their fifth dimensional consciousness to higher levels, maybe 25% of their consciousness, and started to ‘leave behind’ the constraints of the third dimension.

Most people involved in any form of energy healing, alternative therapies and spirituality (not Spiritualism which has turned into a religion) are in this category. They used to be called witches or sorcerers, but Wicca is also a religion and thus bound to third dimensional thinking.

This group understand how the Laws of the Universe work and can put them into practice to manifest situations – ‘make things happen’, but in the Fifth Dimension this requires considerable hard ‘work’.

The next step is to transition into the Sixth Dimension, where, once you have broken through the barrier (I’ll come back to that), manifestation becomes a matter of course with no ‘work’ required.

Once you set an intention as a sixth dimensional being then things do ‘just happen’ – often referred to as ‘miracles’.

The Sixth Dimension is the dimension of miracles, of auto-manifestation, where all you need do is ‘think’ and whatever you wish for happens.

Mind you, that thinking does have to be totally clear and completely focussed on whatever you’re wishing to achieve – but in this dimension it becomes easy – a matter of course.

Crossing the barrier from the fifth to the sixth dimension is nowhere nearly as simple or straightforward as crossing the border (if there is one) between the fourth and fifth – to get through ‘border control’ you must leave an awful lot behind.

You cannot import any ‘connections’ to the third dimension, any third dimensional ‘material’ or ‘baggage’. You must also let go of much of your fourth dimensionality.

The Sixth Dimension has no place for logic, no place for ‘need to know’, no place for ‘how’. Importantly, probably most importantly, there is no place for instinctive reptile brain ‘reaction’ or even higher-level reaction to third/fourth dimensional events.

None of this stuff ‘matters’ anymore.

You are still living in association with a three dimensional body in a three dimensional world, but the trappings and conventions of the third/fourth dimensions are irrelevant because if there is anything out of that space that you wish for you already have it, without even ‘thinking’ about it, but most people in this dimension aren’t particularly interested.

As you proceed through immigration there will be questions to answer. You must have disposed of any limiting beliefs, any blocks, restrictions or binding associations, obligations or dependencies.

Your Soul must be free of all this – a ‘free spirit’ in all ways.

Just like Ellis Island you undergo ‘medical checks’ and if found wanting are consigned to the Hospital, remaining ‘outside’ until you are deemed to have ‘recovered’.

In the Sixth dimension we hone our skill in making things happen and build on our fifth dimensional creative skills.

Creativity, in the form of art, music and writing and to some extent invention (where no ‘problem solving’ skills are involved) is a sort of short cut or temporary access to the dimension.

Much art, music and writing is created spontaneously, as if out of nowhere, and this is certainly a sixth dimensional characteristic – but most artists, musicians and writers only ‘visit’ rather than taking up residence.

This theme of creativity takes us on to the Seventh Dimension which is the realm of ‘creation’. We make things happen, but in the sixth dimension only ‘one by one’. In the seventh its about much bigger things.

It’s more ‘systemic’ than individual, about creating ‘whole’ systems or things that work as one entity. Far more complex than an individual manifestation.

Imagine envisaging a new type of living creature or complex biosystem, or a new ‘culture’ and just ‘bringing it about’.

Creation in its entirety happens in the Seventh Dimension.

Now there are very few people living on the planet who are seventh dimensional, at the lower levels of that consciousness and you can recognise them.

They are ‘out of this world’, ‘off their heads’, ‘crazy people’. Mostly they choose to be out of contact with the rest of humanity but if they do retain a presence they come up with really outrageous ideas and are usually ridiculed even by those with fifth dimensional consciousness.

Very little is known, obviously as we in the fourth, fifth or even sixth dimensions have little or no contact with them, about the upper Eighth and Ninth Dimensions.

Neale Donald Walsch describes ‘HEBs’ or Highly Evolved Beings, who probably start at the seventh and go through to the ninth. These can manifest in many forms and visit any of the other dimensions.

They may perform various roles possibly starting in the upper levels of the seventh as Spirit Guides who do not take three dimensional form and then Angels who can appear as three dimensional beings  and are here among us all the time.

The only thing you and I need to understand is that the purpose of each and every individuated Soul in the Universe is to experience and evolve through the dimensions.

As infinite beings in symbiosis with a three-dimensional host our one and only ‘purpose’ is to experience, which we do by making choices.

Our choices determine our experience and our experience determines our choices. We are not here to fulfil any higher divine ‘purpose’ other than that of experiencing what we experience.

Nothing ‘happens’ to us, it’s all determined by the choices we make. Sadly, very few people understand that and allow their choices to be influenced by others or attempt to influence others’ choices.

It’s all about choices and experiences, nothing else.

Although there are an infinite number of Soul individuations, there is still ‘only one of us’ as Walsch explains and that brings me to the final Tenth Dimension.

As we gain experience from time to time some evolve into tenth dimensional consciousness. This is the dimension of ‘one-ness’ where we cease to be individually conscious beings, part of the ‘great link’ I mentioned last time.

We can however go ‘back’ for more experience (at this higher level of evolution) so we’re not ‘stuck’ when we get there.

However, should it come to pass that all the Soul individuations arrive in the tenth dimension at the same moment, than the Universe will implode back into the first dimension, explode in a second ‘big bang’, and start the process again with all the individuations ‘different’.

Because the Universe is infinite this seems improbable but as Douglas Adams would have put it, improbability is also infinite.

Perhaps the Tenth Dimension is the ‘Restaurant at the End of the Universe’!

Lost Souls

I’ve been discussing multi dimensionality and talking about different dimensions of consciousness; the next thing is to explain the journey of the Soul and how that fits in, together with the concept of ‘timeline’, something much beloved of science fiction writers.

As I have said many times before (along with others such as Mary Morrissey and Bob Proctor) you and I are infinite beings existing in symbiosis with a physical embodiment. As Souls, we are not in fact ‘inside’ our body, rather we envelop it creating an aura around it.

With humans this co-operative state may gone so far that ‘man’ cannot live without the ‘protection’ of a Soul. Souls live through other creatures, but the connection may not be so intimate.

The ‘big question’ is of course ‘why are we here’ and Neale Donald Walsch explains this thoroughly.

You and I are ‘here’ in this ‘life’ on this planet to ‘experience’ something. But it is more than just a ‘go with the flow’ ‘see what happens’ type of experience. It has an objective.

The phrase “I am the Way, the Truth and the Light” sums it up well.

The ‘Way’ is our purpose, but not as much a purpose to achieve some sort of goal other than to just experience the Truth of that Way and bring ‘Light’ to its meaning.

Why? So we can absorb this into the collective knowledge and understanding of all Souls as if the Universe, of which we are all part, is carrying out some kind of universal, every which way, ‘what if?’ experiment.

You and I have our own individual ‘Way’. The strange thing is that although we decide what our Way is to be before we enter each incarnation, we then seem to spend much of our lives attempting to remember what that was!

The Way defines the ‘purpose’ of the journey we take from the time we incarnate (a few months before we are ‘born’) and we can choose in any lifetime to abort that journey if we find it not to our liking.

We can choose to ‘die’, not by ‘suicide’ although that does happen, but we can chose to contract whatever disease is going around at the time or to cease our existence in some other more three dimensional way.

‘Death’ simply means that we go back to being a ‘free spirit’ or disembodied Soul and give ourselves the opportunity to have another go or take up one of the other options available to us as individuated Souls.

When we die – or cease to exist as a human ‘being’ – we are not ‘lost’, we merely ‘go home’; but we can very easily get ‘lost’ in life on Earth and the third or fourth dimensions are where it happens.

Three dimensional objects have no awareness and no power, unless we give them power.

When you or I become ‘attached’ to an object in any way such as seeing it as an ‘essential item’ or a symbol (memorabilia, souvenirs) or a work of art into which we have put our ‘heart and Soul’, we ‘imprint’ a fragment or ‘facet’ of our Soul into the object – we ‘lose’ part of our Soul in that object.

You and I in this way ‘leave’ parts of our Soul in the third dimension. The good news is that it can be recovered but as most people are unaware of what’s going on, they do end up diminished.

If you are a ‘creative’ and for any reason any  of your work is destroyed, deliberately or accidentally, even after you transition from this incarnation, then the soul facet you have ‘invested’ in its creation is lost. Again, it can be recovered but the process is more complex.

The deliberate destruction of books and works of art, as is usually fully understood by the people who instigate it, is a direct attack on the Soul of the creator.

You can also lose your Soul in the fourth dimension.

Your personal experience – your Way – is not part of anyone else’s, and their Way is not part of yours.

No two Souls can be on the same Way.

They may be close, and paths may cross, but however close, in whatever respect, any connection exists between two or more Souls each one has it’s own Way, it’s own journey to experience, its own Truth and its own Light.

Now part of your Way, or mine, may be to influence, manage or lead others, but it is not to ‘control’ them or subjugate them to your will unless it is part of their Way to experience this.

Some people will see you as their ‘leader’ and give you their loyalty, but others’ Way may be to resist you, and the ‘trick is, in being a successful ‘leader’ in any context, to understand that.

The danger is that in our encounters with others in any situation we will either ‘give in’ to them or ‘take them over’. These represent danger to our personal Way and we must not attempt to compromise our Way or seek them to change, but to look inside ourselves for clarification of our own purpose, meaning of life, and Way.

If we fail to do this, we become lost. We lose our Way and become subsumed in theirs which also usually corrupts their Way.

We ‘forget’ who and what we are and where and why we are going.

We are truly ‘lost’ and it’s only when we realise it that we can be brought back to our Way. Its very rare that Souls who become lost like this can recover by themselves, it usually requires a third party to ‘get them back’.

Next time I’m going to consider the ‘timeline’ – the original Universal ‘blockchain’!

The Dimension Paradigm – Part 2

The Fourth and Fifth dimensions are really where we ‘live’ whilst the Third Dimension, and partly the second, are what we live ‘in’.

‘Life’ itself as I mentioned last time is essentially a highly complex ‘chemical reaction’ – more a system of interlocked reactions that allow life to ‘go on’.

These complex frameworks can be ‘interfered’ with and ‘infected’ third dimensionally causing life to be disrupted and eventually to end.

Life goes on for ever, it’s just the individual instances and implementations of it that have a ‘lifespan’.

Although third dimensional life has awareness, it does not have ‘consciousness’ as such. Where awareness stops and consciousness starts is unclear and it’s likely consciousness encapsulates awareness.

A life form can be aware but not conscious but not the other way around. It cannot be conscious without being aware.

We might identify a life form that is conscious as ‘sentient’ – it is not just aware, but ‘knows’ it is aware.

The Fourth Dimension is thus, for a start, the dimension of Knowledge, of ‘knowing’. It’s also the dimension of ‘Reaction’, ‘Thinking’ and ‘Logic’.

Before I go further with this I‘ll refer to Dr David Hawkins’ theory on ‘Levels of Consciousness’ which has a significant bearing on the Fourth and Fifth dimensions.

Hawkins identifies 17 levels of consciousness and ‘feelings’ that go with them. He divides these levels into two distinct areas – ‘Force’ the lower levels, and ‘Power’ for the upper levels.

In mu understanding these correspond closely to the fourth and fifth dimensional levels of consciousness and ‘thinking’.

Whilst ‘awareness’ is primarily third dimensional, with overlap into the adjoining dimensions, then ‘thinking’ is more fifth dimensional with a similar overlap.

Thinking, evolved from awareness, starts in the fourth dimension and changes to something else in the sixth.

The Fourth Dimension then is really the domain of knowledge, of discovery, of research, but mainly of thinking about this knowledge, applying ‘logic’ and reacting to it.

I use the word ‘reacting’ advisedly – in the sense it is used by Bob Proctor, except ‘reaction’ is not unthinking, it has logic, but it may not be ‘the whole story’.

When you and I think fourth dimensionally we react logically – or what seems to be logically – and take action on our knowledge or discovery accordingly.

Often this can be more of an ‘instinctive’ third dimensional ‘reptile brain’ reaction but it will be tempered with ‘learning’.

When we discover knowledge or ‘facts’ we ‘learn’ them, commit them to memory, and use them to generate our logical decisions and reactions.

This is the basis of the school system. Children are given knowledge or facts and required to commit them to memory, later being tested on their accuracy of recall of this knowledge. If they score well, they are said to be ‘educated’ or ‘intelligent’ which is not really the case.

Whilst this is a basis for ‘staying alive’ and is sufficient for many sentient life forms its ‘not enough’ for higher life forms such as humans.

This is where we enter the Fifth Dimension where rather than simply reacting to a stimulus, knowledge or discovery, we respond.

This dimension is the domain of understanding and intuition which allow us to think in a different way and develop considered responses to whatever is going on around us.

It’s not until we reach the higher levels of education that we are asked to apply our knowledge to problems and, as Bob Proctor is very clear, this requires understanding of that knowledge.

This is fairly simple to grasp, but where does ‘intuition’ fit in?

Intuition is the first line of connection with our Inner Self, our spiritual self, which means it’s also our first line of connection with Source, the Universe, God, the Force, or whatever you care to call it.

Understanding and intuition again go together, you cannot have one without the other because intuition is required to develop understanding – understanding is not another form of knowledge.

Important aspects of fifth dimensionality are the concepts of ‘purpose’, ‘reason’ and ‘creativity’ together with setting of intentions, dreams, visions, goals and so on.

The Fifth Dimension is where we start to ‘create’, where we start to take control of our lives rather than just reacting to whatever is going on around us.

This is really what sets us apart from fourth dimensional beings (or those whose thinking is limited to that dimension) who tend to adopt a ‘follow the herd’ mentality which can serve as a means of protection but can also led to unexpected adverse consequences.

What’s different about the Fifth Dimension is, as mentioned above, this is where we start to interface with what is described in Start Trek Deep Space Nine as ‘the Great Link’ where everything about us as spiritual beings ‘comes together’.

It gives us, as third dimensional beings, the power to draw on the energy of spirit as we do in practising energy healing and other modalities. It also holds the memory of all, as infinite beings, we have experienced throughout our incarnations in what are called the Akashic Records.

These can be accessed at fifth dimensional level to clear the consequences of choices we’ve made in previous lives that still affect our current existence.

As rounded human beings we use all the resources of the third, fourth and fifth dimensions to conduct our ‘daily lives’ and orchestrate the experiences for which we are here.

To put things in perspective Andrrea Hess (Soul Realignment) describes most people on this planet as having at least 60% of their consciousness in the third dimension and a maximum of 10% in the fifth with the remainder in the fourth.

We have a long way to go towards Hawkins concept of ‘enlightenment’ at the top end of the fifth dimension.

Next time I’ll discuss the upper dimensions and consider what changes might be needed for them to be reached.

The Dimension Paradigm – Part 1

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been thinking and reading a lot about the ‘dimensions’.

There are many writers and ‘teachers’ on the dimensions. Some say there are an infinite number of dimensions, but most have put a number on it and the majority ‘vote’ seems to be for there being just ten identifiable dimensions.

Now, a warning, this is going to be a bit ‘deep’, and speculative, and I’m still ‘thinking about it’ so this is not a definitive essay on the dimensions, just my appreciation (in the military sense) of the situation.

Second warning – most of this is entirely different from and may be in opposition to, popular current understanding, so please bear with me on this. Let’s just explore the possibilities.

Best to start at the beginning (which is also the end, but we’ll get to that) in the First Dimension.

The First Dimension is what ‘was before’. The singularity before the ‘big bang’ when the Universe was created.

It has no form, there is nothing there. ‘Everything’ was there, and will be there, the First Dimension is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, and as such it is the source (and destination) of all.

The Second Dimension is where ‘awareness’ (and everything else) ‘starts’, and I’ll come back to that.

A two dimensional entity is thought to be something that doesn’t have ‘depth’ – ‘length and width but no depth.

Most people thing of drawings and paintings, even photographs as two dimensional, but they are not, A pencil line on a piece of paper has thickness and as such is not two dimensional – but wait, maybe it is.

The first paradigm shift: length, breath and depth are not ‘dimensions’, they are measurements.

We had better be clear that I refer to a dimension as a ‘state of being’, nothing to do with those measurements or others such as time, space and money.

Energy itself though, is two dimensional, when expressed as a vibration with two measurements, frequency and wavelength – so colour, heat, radio waves and so on are all two dimensional.

A good example of something in the second dimension is an image projected on a screen, whether that be a cinema screen, a TV or a computer.

It’s ‘there’, but it isn’t. When you turn off the projector it’s gone. The light energy transmitted by the projector is switched off.

But there’s more to consider here.

Everything you and I ‘see’ is an image on a screen, projected through the lens of our eye onto the retina and then interpreted by the brain as, usually, an ‘object’ of some sort.

If you close your eyes (switch off the ‘projector’) then the image is gone.

Everything we see is what the brain tells us it ‘is’, whether that information is derived from sight or any of the other senses.

Saying “it’s real because I can touch and feel it” doesn’t mean much – it’s only the brain’s interpretation if the information it receives from your senses.

Everything ‘out there’ – outside our brains – is an ‘illusion’.

They key thing about the second dimension is that what exists here, energy, is everything and thus the second dimension is the source of everything that occurs in the higher dimensions.

Another important thing to consider here is that this Second Dimension is where our awareness starts, Without it we would not be ‘aware’ of anything – indeed, there would not ‘be’ anything.

Which brings me to the Third Dimension.

The problem here is that what we ‘see’ is in the Second Dimension, not the Third where most people think it is. I’ve explained this so where does the Third Dimension fit in.

The Third Dimension, in my logic, is the dimension of ‘Matter’, of ‘Chemistry’ and of ‘Life’.

The Third Dimension is where second dimensional energy starts to ‘make itself apparent’ or give itself ‘form’.

A way of looking at this differentiation of energy is through the periodic table of elements where energy vibrates in different ways and frameworks to manifest as the various metals, gases and so on that make up all ‘physical’ matter.

These ‘elements’ or ‘chemicals’ interact and produce other formations, one group of which is the ‘chemistry of life’ and the Third Dimension is the domain of Chemistry.

Physics by the way pervades all dimensions. The Laws of Physics ad the Laws of the Universe are the same. They are how the Universe ‘works’, how energy itself ‘works’.

In the Third Dimension ‘awareness’ is in the domain of living organisms – matter that has a ‘special chemistry’, an ongoing reaction of energetic transformation that has two special capabilities.

The ability to ‘reproduce’ or ‘create’ and the sensation of ‘awareness’.

All living things are aware, even if it is only a very rudimentary level of response to stimuli. Plants for example are ‘aware’ of light and temperature, single celled organisms are aware of the proximity of others and so on.

‘Higher’ life forms have higher levels of awareness depending on the sophistication of their sense receptors and the information they need to exist and procreate.

The more advanced a life form the more information it needs and hence the more awareness it requires.

There are other aspects to the third dimensional substrate of the planet, most of which has been created one way or another by life forms.

If we start with rocks, there are two sources, from the planet itself through basic chemistry and from life forms on the planet chalk, coal and so on.

Higher life forms engage chemistry to ‘make’ things. Insects and birds make ‘nests’ of different kinds, as do some fish and of course humans make all sorts of objects utilising basic chemistry together with engineering abilities that come from the next dimension.

In the Fourth Dimension, I’ll discuss the concepts of Logic and Knowledge and in the Fifth those of Intuition and Understanding.

Well also consider how awareness continues in these dimensions and where spirituality fits into these dimensions.

Although ‘life’ starts in the Third Dimension, it doesn’t really ‘kick in’ for ‘humanity’ until the Fourth which is where we’ll go next time.

The Fact of the Matter

There’s a lot of talk about ‘facts’.

People claim that they have the ‘true facts’, or about something being a ‘scientific fact’ and so on.

But what is ‘fact’ or ‘a fact’? Is there indeed such a thing?

The definition of the word includes a ‘get out’ clause in that a ‘fact’ is something that is ‘known’ or believed to be ‘true’. There is a secondary definition that it has been ‘proved’ to be true.

There is a lot here to consider and the first thing that stands out is the word ‘true’ because the definition of true is ‘in accordance with fact’ so we have a circular definition which means very little.

The second aspect of a fact is that it is something which is backed up by belief which again has no material basis for reality.

It was once believed to be true that the Earth was flat. That was a known fact.

Until someone proved otherwise.

It is know believed to be true that the Earth is a sphere because that’s the conclusion observable evidence leads us to.

What is a known true fact today may not be so tomorrow.

It was once believed that the smallest possible particle was an atom which could not be subdivided, observations have shown otherwise and are leading now to the observation that there are no such things as particles at all, everything is energy.

So what about this ‘science’ thing?

Science is held up by many people as the arbiter of fact. “It’s a scientific fact (and you can’t argue with that)”

Well, as a scientist I know only too well that you can.

Science is simply a method for discovery. Discovery of how things ‘work’, how to ‘do’ something, or ‘what is ‘going on’.

It works like this: you make a guess (a hypothesis) and then conduct experiments and observations to see if that guess was ‘right’, then you make another guess and so on until you come up with a ‘theory’ about whatever you are investigating.

You then get other scientists to test that theory, to try and break or disprove it. If the theory ‘holds up’ it becomes a ‘Law’ or a ‘Fact’.

But.

It’s not necessarily ‘true’ – it is only correct in the exact context and environment in which the experiments were done, and the observations made. Outside those constraints it may not hold up or it may be completely irrelevant.

Scientists build ‘models’ to test their theories as it is rare that they are able to test them in ‘real life’. Modelling extends to testing treatments of various types on animals before they are tried out on humans – so we can never be 100% certain that anything that science comes up with will either ‘work’ or be ‘true.

The same process takes place in economics. Economists, who use very similar methods to scientists, make models and predict courses of action. Different ‘schools’ of economics use different models for the same thing and come up with different ‘answers’

The same thing happens with every ‘discipline’ that uses academic or even real-life models to make predictions.

The thing is that these predictions are peddled as ‘facts’ and ‘truth’ which they are not.

The world of art is not immune from this either. Art itself is a medium of interpretation. People use writing, painting and especially photography to give an impression of the world as they see it, of how they see what is going on and how things work.

The method is different from the ‘technicians’ and more drawn from the subconscious than the logical mind but it still creates their view of the ‘facts’ of life.

Perhaps this gives us a clue to what ‘fact’ really is and perhaps artists are the closest observers of ‘fact’.

You see, the artist uses his or her beliefs and understandings of the world around them to create their form of art; to show the facts as they see them – just as I am doing in this writing.

As the definition states – facts are what people believe to be true. There is no real definitive truth.

Some may argue against that and cite examples, as in Wikipedia, that it is a fact that the Sun is a star – well, it’s only a ‘star’ because we call it a star, some people used to call it a god, which if course they believed as a fact.

Now, granted, there are some empirical facts that are ‘true’ like, again from Wikipedia, Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the United States. Yes, but that’s merely a piece of information that has very little bearing on anything. A ‘useless fact’ perhaps?

You and I have to think carefully about whatever is presented to us as a ‘fact’ or ‘true’, first the environment or context in which it is being presented and second the ‘credentials’ of the presenter.

I have a bunch of letters after my name but they don’t really mean a lot, maybe I know how to do a few things, maybe I was invited to join an organisation, but those letters and Fellowships and Degrees are no indicator that I have a monopoly or even a claim on any sort of ‘fact’ or ‘truth’.

Most of the so-called ‘facts’ and ‘statistics’ being banded about are in support of someone’s agenda. They are the facts or truths that support their beliefs – or indeed, are the facts and truths that arise from those beliefs or that agenda.

Just like in a Court case, different sides ‘select’ the ‘facts’ that ‘fit’ their case, that support their beliefs, their truth.

In the end you and I have to go back to our beliefs and identify the evidence that supports them whether that evidence be experimental (what you have discovered by experiment) or empirical (what you have observed).

As I have said before, the ‘truth’ is not ‘out there’, it’s inside.

Reality is relative and facts and truth are illusions you and I create for ourselves. Our facts, those we choose to believe, arise from our ‘realities’ and our agendas.

Masters of the Universe

I was inspired to this hearing Queen’s song from ‘A Kind of Magic’ and the film ‘Highlander’. I’m taking a bit of a liberty as the words are really ‘Princes of the Universe’ but it, and to an extent the underlying theme of the film, relates to the same thing.
We are Masters of the Universe, in fact, we are the Universe.
Now this is best explained in the Neale Donald Walsch trilogy+1 (four books) ‘Conversations with God’ but it is also in the Bible, Al-Qur’an, and most other ‘Holy’ books you care to inspect.
You can also find this reasoning in Napoleon Hill, Wallace D Wattles, Jim Rohn, Bob Proctor, Thomas Troward, Andrrea Hess, Esther Hicks and Henry David Thoreau to name but a few.
It’s not surprising really that not many years ago these sort of books were kept at the back of the bookshop next to the ‘Occult’ section with books on witchcraft and magick – how things could be made to happen by the power of the mind.
And before that all these people would have been considered blasphemers, sorcerers, witches or heretics – and that includes the writers of the Holy Books when they first appeared – and in most cases exiled, incarcerated or executed.
Walsch states clearly that ‘we’ are all unique individuations of the Universe, that there is ‘only one of us’ and that ‘together’ we make up and are the Universe. Add to this Mary Morrisey’s statement that we are infinite beings inhabiting a human existence and we begin to understand what and who we really are.
We should also remember as Hill says, that (a) everything is energy which can neither be created or destroyed, only transformed and (b) everything is created twice, first in thought, which is a form of energy, and then in ‘reality’, also a form of energy.
There may of course be more than one ‘step’ to turn those thoughts into realities.
Let’s just consider the nature of ‘reality’.
The first thing that comes to mind for most people is that ‘reality’ is represented by a three dimensional entity of some kind, an object, but it could also, for example, be a child – the thought comes first, then the birth.
But there are other outcomes or realities that arise from the original thought or ‘intention’.
You and I are quite familiar with setting intentions, goals and plans to achieve an outcome, result or ‘reality’. It’s what we do all the time.
We are, in effect, building or creating our own Universe within ‘the’ Universe.
You and I are ‘masters’ of our own Universes.
But what’s going on when things ’happen’, things come to pass, that we didn’t actively intend, we didn’t ‘conjure up’?
Simple, we wished for them to happen, we thought them into existence.
Yes, all of them, all of it, everything, no exceptions.
But it’s more than just what we ‘wish’ for, it’s what we imagine, what we speculate on, what we complain about, what we moan about, what ‘winds us up’, what we daydream and all those ‘what if’s we indulge in.
It all adds up to produce an often unintended ‘outcome’ that ‘does its best’ to satisfy all those thoughts.
And there’s something else. Because there are so many of ‘us’ who are all part of the ‘one’ of us things tend to harmonise (although I’m not sure that’s quite the right word) and a ‘consensus’ – but not really a consensus – of what we all ‘want’ is arrived at in the form of the outcome.
This is not targeted goal setting. We don’t all agree on something and bring it about, it’s quite random.
You see there’s something else going on.
Because there are two ‘parts’ to our mind, one supposedly ‘logical’ and the other more eclectic and intuitive, we as symbiotic creatures have become very ‘suggestible’.
We are easily manipulated, not necessarily deliberately or even directly, but more subtly by all the things we see, hear and read, all the ‘information’ we take in, all the ‘entertainment’ we enjoy, and all the ‘advertising’ we are subjected to..
We reprocess all this stuff to create something that becomes our mindset, pour paradigm or our ‘opinion’.
And then we go and tell others and the cycle repeats.
To summarise all this (a) we take in ‘information’ which may be true or false and is often based on another individuals opinion (b) we reprocess and re-form it and (c) we generate and then deliver our own opinion.
Bu there are an infinite number of ‘opinions’ around at any one time which also take the form of wishes, complaints, desires, intentions and feelings.
‘Thoughtforms’ would probably be a better word than ‘opinion’ perhaps.
These ‘thoughtforms’ are energy and they transform the energy of the planet and the people on it into an outcome intended to satisfy the mass of original ‘thoughts’.
It’s complicated I know, but that is how things ‘happen’.
Perhaps it’s better explained by saying that nothing ‘happens’ unless it is initiated, invoked or ‘conjured up’ by a thoughtform or set of thoughtforms from different people.
Whatever is ‘happening’ today is a result of our collective wishes, deliberate or unconscious.
There are no external malevolent (or otherwise) forces.
It’s just ‘us’ – and as Walsch repeats many times – there is only one of us.
That ‘one’ of us, or of you prefer that ‘all’ of us, really are the Master of the Universe.
What we say, think, believe, complain about, speculate about, wonder about, moan about, talk about, write about, is what causes everything to ‘happen’.
Be careful out there.

A Speck of Dust

And so it came to pass that a tiny speck of matter, smaller than a speck of dust, appeared on the planet. No-one know from whence it came and at first no-one noticed it at all, it might have been around for years.

It was not alive, it had no awareness, just a few molecules of protein, lipid, and nucleic acid, totally inert – a tiny sub-microscopic speck.

As with everything of course it was just an energy system, but as you and I know, everything is created twice so it must have started out as a thoughtform, but who (or what) had that thought is purely a matter of guesswork, it could have come from anywhere in the Universe.

One day, purely by chance, by accident, it came into contact with a living cell and was absorbed by that cell. And the nature of that cell was to respond to the ‘instructions’ contained within the nucleic acid in that speck, to replicate it.

And so it did, many thousands maybe even millions of times, until eventually the cell died, or maybe was destroyed by other cells in the body of which it formed part, and the multitude of replicated specks it had created were released.

Some stayed inside that body being taken up by other cells and the process was repeated. Some though, left that body through the normal processes of its life and were expelled into the atmosphere, where, again quite by accident, by chance, they came into contact with other living cells in other bodies and the whole process of replication was repeated.

At some time one or more of these tiny specks of micro-dust came, by chance, into contact with a human cell within a human body.

We have no knowledge of when this happened or where this happened. A human may have been the first type of body the original speck ‘bumped into’, or maybe not, it doesn’t matter.

But what does matter is what happened once humans became involved.

Now it’s really important for you and me to keep hold of the fact that the original speck of dust and all its replicates were purely three-dimensional inanimate objects. They had no awareness, no ‘purpose’, no ‘agenda’, no ‘intent’, no thought, no life, nothing. They were not organisms, not alive and so could not be ‘killed’. They were just ‘specks of dust’ carried hither and thither by the dynamics of the planet and the living creatures thereon.

But the humans, who like to have explanations for everything and are highly suggestible creatures decided amongst themselves to ascribe all these qualities to these innocent specks of dust.

The specks were ‘evil’ they were ‘out to kill us all’ they were a threat and so on. The humans also agreed that they were some sort of life form and had to be ‘killed’.

The problem was that this particular type of speck was something that human bodies, human cells, had not really encountered before although there were others like it.

Consequently in ‘mistakenly’ turning their efforts over to replicating the specks rather than performing their originally assigned purpose, the cells did themselves quite a bit of damage and put excessive pressure on the body’s ‘health service’, its immune system, distracting it from other, perhaps more pressing, urgent, or serious matters it was dealing with.

Because of this many humans died from the problems they already had, often earlier than they would have expected without the extra pressure on their health services needed to deal with the specks.

It wasn’t the specks that caused the deaths because the effect of the specks on their own was relatively minor, although uncomfortable, but the humans decided to ‘blame’ the speck for all those deaths that would have occurred anyway although maybe at a later date.

Eventually they worked themselves up into such a state that almost every death, whatever the cause, was blamed on the speck – humans of course love to have something or someone to blame for everything that goes even slightly wrong.

Some humans came to believe that if a speck came near them they would die, and so they did, not from the speck but because of their belief they would die, some humans even wanted to die and believed that the speck had been sent to kill them.

The specks of course were not ‘doing’ anything, they were just specks, with no ability to ‘do’. But the humans really believed that they were and so they started to make changes in the way they lived so that they could avoid any possibility of the specks ‘infecting’ them.

They persuaded their governments to order that everyone should stay locked inside their houses and have no contact with anyone else, they persuaded their governments to order that they keep apart and wear masks to prevent the specks being passed from one person to another and they persuaded their governments to enforce these rules and arrest or fine anyone found breaking them.

They even persuaded their governments to ban people from taking walks alone in the countryside or on the beaches – everyone was forced to stay at home, except for a few key workers who would keep things going.

Almost every death that occurred, even those from old age, were blamed on the speck – even if it only might have been present, and the people worked themselves up into a state of fear that the world was coming to an end and that everyone would die.

Well of course everyone will, but not because of the speck.

Now the speck was very hard to find, very hard to test for, so no-one really knew whether they ‘had’ it or not because there were lots of other specks that looked a bit like it. The people didn’t really know how ‘bad’ it was – or even if the speck was still there!

The humans also worked hard to find a ‘cure’, something that would eliminate the speck, but because no-one was really able to isolate it, this proved very difficult especially as different human bodies reacted in different ways according to the condition they were in before the speck chanced, by accident, to encounter them.

Different people’s immune systems dealt with the speck in different ways making the ‘symptoms’ of being ‘infected’ by the speck difficult to determine. As usual most human ‘medicine’ was about treating the symptoms rather than the cause, but they did come up with an idea for that.

Why not take substances from people who had the ‘disease’ and use them to create something that could be injected into healthy people to give them the disease so their immune systems could recognise it and start to build defences?

Sounds like a good plan?

The humans became so enamoured with this idea that they demanded that such a ‘vaccine’ be developed to ‘kill off’ this ‘threat’.

And they became so enthusiastic that they started to demand that everyone should be forced to receive this vaccination – or in other words that everyone should be forcibly given the speck so their immune systems could, in time, become resistant to it.

But what if, what if?

They had just left it alone as they had with other types of speck, and let it run its course. After all the symptoms it caused by itself were not much different from the ‘common cold’ – for which no remedy had ever been found.

In the end, livelihoods were destroyed, businesses were destroyed, the people gave themselves over to increasing state control over what they did, parliamentary democracy was superseded my mob democracy, people were not allowed to travel, curiosity and exploration were discouraged, society was broken, and life on the planet changed irreversibly.

All because of a speck of dust.

The Ultimate Answer

I may have said before that the ultimate answer to ‘life the universe and everything’ is, as Douglas Adams suggested, ‘42’ or ‘whatever you wish it to be’.
But that’s not the real answer, or the real ‘Secret’, and in her book of that name Rhonda Byrne only touched on the edges of the matter.
But then I suppose, in a way it is ‘42’ after all.
Wallace D Wattles in ‘The Science of Getting Rich’ (later retitled ‘Financial Success Through the Power of Creative Thought’) states:
“There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates and fills the interspaces of the Universe. A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.”
That ‘thinking stuff’ is probably better known as Energy which is indeed the ‘original state’ of the ‘thinking stuff’.
Everything is energy and Energy is everything.
There are only two elements to the Universe – Energy and ‘not energy’(otherwise known as Space).
Once you and I fully understand what this means then we do have the ‘secret’, the ‘ultimate answer’ and everything soon becomes clear.
But what IS Energy?
Everything that exists is made up of energy, and the question of what it ‘is’ has been investigated in the fields of quantum mechanics and metaphysics and the idea of ‘string theory’ described in Stephen Hawking’s ‘A Brief History of Time’.
You and I though, don’t really need to know what it ‘is’, more how it manifests itself.
Energy manifests as vibrations which occur at an infinite number of frequencies (the number of vibrations per second) and wavelengths (the size of the vibration).
Energy also manifests itself as matter. It was once thought that matter was something separate, but particle physics is rapidly coming to the conclusion that there is no such thing as a particle, just vibrations.
Seemingly ‘solid’ matter is simply a complex system of energy vibrations causing ‘matter’ to exist in a myriad of forms, including life forms.
Now energy, as I think I’ve mentioned before, can neither be created or destroyed, but it can be trans-formed from one form into another. Sometimes this requires energy to be added; let’s say in the form of heat, and sometimes energy may be released, perhaps in the form of light, as matter is changed from one form to another.
Energy is never ‘lost’ but it can be ‘wasted’ if when it’s transformed by our intervention, the energy ‘released’ is not effectively harnessed to carry out the purpose of ‘releasing’ it.
‘We’ require a lot of energy for our ‘civilised’ society to function, energy for heating, lighting, machine power, transportation etc.
The trouble is that the way we ‘generate’ this energy is very primitive and reliant on three-dimensional matter transformation.
Even when we harness solar, wind and tidal power the process is essentially three-dimensional.
Are we missing a trick?
Are we so obsessed with our three-dimensionality that we cannot conceive of any other way to ‘manage’ energy to achieve our objectives?
Why am I talking about dimensions?
You and I generally see the world and the Universe we live in as three dimensional – ‘things’; but the third dimension is only part of the ‘dimensional spectrum’, there are also, in this environment, the fourth and fifth dimensions, the dimensions of thought and ‘presence’, or perhaps ‘belief’ and ‘faith’.
The sixth dimension by the way starts with enlightenment and most people don’t reach it until they have ‘let go’ of the third dimension.
We see the third dimension from the outside, from the fourth dimension – if you are in the third you cannot see it. We comprehend three dimensional objects from the dimension of thought and so on.
You and I are familiar with the idea of a spectrum – the colour spectrum, sound, the electromagnetic spectrum and so on.
We know as well that there are no ‘hard boundaries’ between the colours in a rainbow, the light spectrum and there are no hard boundaries between colours and the infra-red and ultraviolet ‘waves’ at either end.
Importantly, there are no ‘hard boundaries’ between different frequencies and wavelengths – it’s like driving a car, we don’t ‘stop’ at 30 miles an hour and then start again at 30.1 miles an hour.
And there is no end, the spectrum of energy of which these are part goes on and on and on, through al the third dimensional wavelengths and frequencies and into the fourth and so on.
There is no ‘end’.
Have you ever wondered why the symbol for infinity is ?
It has no end, it cones back on itself; now just imagine that symbol on this screen (2 dimensional) as a three-dimensional object and then envelop it in a fourth, fifth and sixth dimension and so on.
All of the dimensions are zones or continuums of energy – everything is energy, there is nothing else.
We are multidimensional beings inhabiting three-dimensional life forms, but mostly we’ve only considered working with the three dimensional area of the energy spectrum.
There is a massive ‘amount’ (if such a measure can exist) of energy ‘available’ to us in the fourth and fifth dimensions but we’ve forgotten how to use it, we’ve forgotten how to transform it (as we do with three dimensional energy) to meet our needs, particularly in the areas of transportation and communication.
The way we do these now consumes massive amounts of transformed three-dimensional energy as engine fuel and electrical power.
The thing is, that before we can go ‘back’ or forward to a decentralised and diversified society we need to crack this energy ‘problem’.
‘Using up’ the three-dimensional resources, or more correctly transforming them into other forms, or finding other ‘sources’ of energy we can transform isn’t going to work for much longer.
We have to find a new way – or more correctly discover, or rediscover ways of doing things, moving about, and communicating that we have, but have forgotten how to use.
Ant there’s the point. The three-dimensional world we live in is all about ‘how’. We spend vast resources of time and effort in figuring out how to do things and how things ‘work’.
Perhaps we should pay more attention to ‘what’ we are doing and ‘why’?
